St. John Vianney Church in Bettendorf will showcase the musical “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” on March 5-7 at 7 p.m. and March 8 at 2 p.m. Tickets are free of charge, but the church is accepting donations for Humility of Mary, an organization dedicated to ending homelessness by offering housing services to those in need.
“Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” is a musical about a story in the Bible that follows Joseph, Jacob’s favorite son, and his eleven brothers. A hit musical, “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” was nominated for eleven Tonys in 1982, five of which were for “Best Musical.”
People may pick up tickets after Masses in the Gathering Space, pick up tickets in the office throughout the week or call ahead at 332-7910 to reserve seats. The four center sections will be numbered for tickets, and then there will be a ticketed general admissions section.
Due to anticipated high demand, it is strongly encouraged to reserve seats in advance.
