A kindhearted and welcoming student, sophomore Aiden Doe encompasses what Bettendorf High School is all about: passion, purpose, and pride.
Doe’s main achievement has not been in the classroom, but on the stage. His talent and positive attitude has made a lasting impact in the theatre department and choir department.
“He is a really uplifting person. He is very positive and is always saying hi to everyone,” choir member Minori Peters said.
The theatre department features a talented group of actors and actresses that put together three productions a year. In his high school career, Doe has been featured in “The Sound of Music,” “Moon Over Buffalo,” and “A Charlie Brown Christmas.”
For the senior-directed play of “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” Doe was given the lead role of Charlie Brown.
“It brings great joy to my life to be able to have such a great opportunity,” Doe said.
In addition to theatre, Doe is involved in Show Choir and Chamber Choir.
Doe has improved the show choir, but also the show choir has improved him. Doe said, “Choir has given me a home within the high school. It has given me a great purpose.”
“Aiden is such a positive person to be around. His impact on Surround Sound is astounding. What a man,” Ayanna Tremaine said.
