Bettendorf Growl reaches out to Bon-Ton regarding state of Quad City Younkers

The Bettendorf Growl has reached out to public relations at Bon-Ton, the parent of company of Younkers, to determine the future of their stores in the Quad Cities.

On a day in which seven Younkers store closures were announced by the Iowa Workforce Development Authority, reports have circulated that Quad City stores could face closures, as well.

These reports have not been confirmed by the Bettendorf Growl independently, nor Bon-Ton.

There are currently three Younkers stores in the Metro area: NorthPark, SouthPark, and Muscatine.

Bon-Ton has not yet returned the Bettendorf Growl's request for comment regarding the state of the Quad Cities' three stores.
