Iowa woman accused of abducting children that prompted Amber Alert arrested
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (Bettendorf Growl) — Authorities have arrested the woman accused of abducting her three daughters on Tuesday was arrested in Sioux City Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities have been searching for 25-year-old Danica Noel Arzaga since she allegedly abducted her three children from Royal, Iowa, prompting an Amber Alert on Tuesday.
The Amber Alert was later cancelled after the three children were found abandoned in the northwest Iowa town of Sanborn, late Tuesday evening.
Arzaga faces three counts of third-degree kidnapping.
The children were taken to an undisclosed location by the Iowa Department of Human Services.
