Police investigate animal cruelty after dog found burned, dumped in Davenport

Police are investigating an animal cruelty case after a dog was found burned and dumped near Credit Island Park last week. 

 

Public works crews found the dog near Miller Ave. and S. Concord Street on Wednesday, July 19. 

 

Animal control was unable to find tags or a microchip to lead them to the owner of the deceased Rottweiler. 

 

Anyone with any information is asked to contact authorities.
