Pawz for a cause
On average, one animal in a shelter is euthanized every seven seconds in the United States. That is approximately 3.7 million animals a year. Pawz, an online store with a factory located in North Canton, Ohio, was created to raise money for euthanasia awareness. The company’s goal is to raise money to prevent animals from being euthanized and eventually stop the euthanasia of animals all together.
Pawz sells long sleeve shirts, short sleeve shirts, outerwear, tank tops, and various accessories for both men and women. Gift cards are also available for purchase. Every item is decorated with either dog or cat sayings or artwork. Some popular items include the Pawz Leggings, Short Sleeve Rainbow Sherbert Tee, the Howlite Bracelets, and the Black Pawz Hat. Ten percent of the net profits from orders are donated to the Stark County Humane Society. The donated money goes towards the protection of sheltered animals.
