Apple releases red iPhone, new iPad
Apple released a special edition iPhone in recognition of 10 years of partnership between Apple and (RED). Part of the proceeds will go back to (RED) to contribute to their global fund. The red-colored iPhone will be available online and in stores on Friday, March 24.
(RED) raises money for HIV/AIDS for the millions of people living with the disease. The money goes towards life-saving HIV/AIDS programs. The end goal is to have an AIDS-free generation. Learn more about (RED) here.
Apple also released a new iPad Tuesday starting at $329. The iPad has a 9.7 inch screen, an A9 processing chip, and up to ten hours of battery life. The iPad will be available for purchase on Friday, March 24, as well.
