AP Exams will start later in 2018

College Board
According to The College Board, next year’s AP exams will be held starting May 7 instead of May 1 as they are this year. Therefore, students and instructors of second semester AP classes will have almost an additional week of learning time.
“In the past [The College Board] has always started their AP Exams on the first Monday in May,” AP Psychology teacher Kelly Ager said.
May 2018 starts on a Tuesday, so exams will end up being pushed back.
While this exact schedule will only apply to next year, next year’s AP students will benefit from the shift.
