Nearly 200,000 evacuated as California dam spillway threatens to fail

At least 188,000 have been evacuated in northern California as an emergency spillway to Oroville Dam is expected to fail.

 

Evacuations have been ordered in Oroville, Gridley, Live Oak, Marysville, Wheat land, Yuba City, Plumas Lake, and Olivehurst in Butte and Yuba Counties.
