Floods of 2016: What you need to know

The Mississippi River at Lock and Dam 15 (Rock Island) is expected to crest at 16.9 feet on Saturday, October 16 at 6 p.m.
At this level, flood waters cover most of LeClaire Park in Davenport, including the lower parking lots, as well as Credit Island Lane.
Lower portions of Moline are affected, while Rock Island and Bettendorf are minimally affected.

Sandbagging
Sandbags are available for pick up to those affected by flood waters at 13 to 17 feet at the Wastewater Treatment Plant
Facilities
• Crews have finished installation of flood protection at Modern Woodmen Park • The Compost Facility is accessible from Rockingham Rd/Hwy 22 to Wapello to Railroad Ave. • The Freight House, the River’s Edge, and Union Station will all remain open for business, unless forecasted river levels change significantly
