According to the Mississippi Valley Blood Center, “One pint of donated blood can save up to three lives, but only ten percent of eligible people donate each year.”
The high school blood drive is on Tuesday, Sept. 20 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
If students want to donate, they should contact the FCCLA president Annette Schneider. Students can also go to the main office, activities office, or guidance office to sign up.
To donate, a student must be 17 years old or 16 years old with a parent consent form.
