Deere announces more layoffs at Iowa locations

MOLINE — Deere & Company has informed 125 employees that they will be laid off indefinitely.

Seventy-five employees at Deere’s Dubuque factory will be affected, with the remaining 50 affecting the plant in Ankeny.

The layoff at the Dubuque factory is effective April 15, 2016. The Ankeny layoff will be effective on April 29.

In February, Deere announced 100 layoffs that affected the Davenport and Dubuque factories.
