Football schedule for 2016, 2017 released

The Iowa High School Athletic Association released football schedules for both the 2016 and 2017 seasons Friday morning.

Below is the 2016 schedule for Bettendorf. The 2017 season schedule is identical, but the location of the game is reversed:

Aug. 26 — at West Des Moines Valley

Sep. 2 — Davenport Assumption

Sep. 9 — Cedar Rapids Washington

Sep. 16 — at Pleasant Valley

Sep. 23 — Muscatine

Sep. 30 — at Clinton

Oct. 7 — Davenport North

Oct. 14 — at Iowa City High

Oct. 21 — Davenport Central
