“Me Before You” is one Jojo Moyes’ more well-known books and is soon to be a feature length film. It was released in early January 2012. The New York Times, Good Housekeeping, and Associated Press all gave the book a positive review.

“Me Before You” is the story of Louisa Clark and Will Traynor and their very unconventional love story. Louisa Clark is a bright young woman, but is struggling to hold down a job. She lives at home and uses the money she does have to take care of her family. She is offered a job as caregiver, reluctant at first, but agrees to the terms.

Will Traynor is a quadriplegic who has given up on his will to live. Before an accident, Will was living the fast life, traveling the world, and living in London.

When Louisa finds out Will no longer has the will to live, she makes it her mission to change his mind. But Will is planning to go to a clinic in Switzerland in six months to commit assisted suicide. Once Louisa finds this out this she is devastated. Louisa decides that, in those six months, she must show Will all the reasons to live. Each day brings new troubles and doubts, but Louisa stays strong on her new mission.

I would give the book 4/5 stars. The most interesting part of this book was the idea on what it really means to live. Will and Louisa didn't feel like unreachable characters, but people anyone could possibly meet in everyday life.

Jojo Moyes has released a sequel to the book called “After You,” published in late 2015.

The film will be released June 3, 2016. The cast includes Emilia Clarke (“Game of Thrones”) as Louisa and Sam Claflin (“Hunger Games”) as Will Traynor.
